I've been putting this off because....well I really hate getting emotional and I doubt I can get through writing this with out crying. A few months ago, my co-worker Renee Fox, a fellow teacher at McGavock asked me to do some photos for her parents for Christmas. Renee was an only child and never had children but her dogs were her children. Everyone who knew Renee knew that her dogs meant the world to her. So of course I said I would do some photos for her but on one condition, she had to be in the photos. I told her, jokingly, that "I don't take pictures of dogs, I take pictures of people with their dogs". So she agreed she would be in a few. She told me she hated being in pictures but she would be in a few. So last friday we meet up after work and did the photos. I had a blast with her, as always. Well as many of you know, Renee Fox passed away in her sleep this past Wednesday, just 5 days after me taking these photos. I can't tell you how blessed I feel to have had the opportunity to take the photos for her. Renee you will be missed by many. You made such an impact on me and so many others. As the other Fox at McGavock, I will try and fill those big shoes that you have left.

I love you, my good friend Renee.

This is so sweet, Layla. How precious these picures will be to her parents. The photos are gorgeous and you captured her love for her pups beautifully!
